Educational & Professional Background
I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, currently under the supervision of Sandra Kushnir, LMFT #9225 at Meridian Counseling. Holding a Master of Science degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego, my academic foundation is robust.
I bring a combination of clinical expertise and real-world business insight to my work as a therapist. My clinical experience began as an MFT Trainee at Ness Counseling Center in Los Angeles, where I conducted individual, couples, and group therapy for both self-referred and court-mandated clients.
Since October 2021, I have been a key member of Meridian Counseling, where I managed new client inquiries, insurance verification, and administrative processes. Currently, as Manager of Outreach and Training, I lead our CAMFT-accredited therapist training program, organize professional development and employee events, and engage in community outreach initiatives to expand mental health access.
In addition to my clinical roles, I have volunteered over two years at a residential treatment center and completed a significant internship as an observational coder of therapy sessions for children (ages 5–13) with Autism Spectrum and comorbid disorders at the Child and Adolescent Services Research Center in San Diego.
Beyond traditional therapy settings, I have worked with business owners and leaders of high-performing companies across California, as well as held corporate positions myself. This experience gives me a unique understanding of corporate pressures, leadership challenges, and workplace stress, allowing me to support professionals in navigating both personal and professional challenges effectively.
Committed to upholding ethical standards, I operate within the guidelines set forth by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and CAMFT as a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in California.
